...and then the plunge, stomach in throat, limbs suspended, wind assaulting my face. The descent is sweet, thrilling my body, defying physics, stilling my brain. For a brief, long moment, I cannot remember anything that came before, and time and space have caught the train out of town. If only we could remember more often how easy it is to live while flying, to fly while living.
